In preparation for this year’s Spring Break campus closure, please find our annual reminder regarding proposal processing and submissions. The University will be closed March 16 and 17, 2026, and ORA staff will be unavailable during this time.
To ensure all submissions are processed successfully before the closure, please note the following timeline:
- Proposals due during the Spring Break closure: Must be submitted to ORA by Friday, March 6, 2026.
- Submission target: All proposals received by March 6 will be finalized and submitted by close of business on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Submission Policy Reminders
As a reminder, ORA requires proposals to be submitted in KR six (6) business days prior to the sponsor deadline to allow for a thorough compliance review. In addition, the complete and final proposal package should be uploaded to the appropriate electronic system at least 24 hours before the sponsor deadline.
Our volume remains extremely high. Adhering to these lead times is essential to ensure that every proposal receives the thorough review and accuracy it deserves while maintaining a fair and equitable process for all investigators.
