SPOTLIGHT SERIES: Effort Reporting 201 – Getting Effort Reports Approved!

Effort Approval Day (April 6) is almost here. Are you ready? Make this the year that your department gets off the delinquency list. Come learn how to maneuver around within the effort system including how to create and manage work groups so that one person can approve another person’s effort report; how to get effort reports approved for individuals who are no longer employees of UMD; and why cost transfers or other wages aren’t showing on the effort report. A concentrated effort to clean up old effort reporting periods is underway and will be discussed. Also to be discussed is the future of effort reporting at UMD.
