Uniform Guidance – UMCP Implementation
The OMB Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR 200, (UG) establishes uniform administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for Federal awards issued to non-Federal entities (effective 12/26/14). The UG consolidated several OMB Circulars, including A21, A110, and A133. The UG impacts the proposals PIs prepare for federal funding, the way federally funded awards are managed, and the cost principles that guide research at the University of Maryland College Park.
